Renowned Gospel music singer, Sinach Joseph, on Sunday 15th September, 2019, led thousands of young people in worship at a programme dubbed “Encounter Love”, under the theme “Experiencing Jesus”.

The event, which took place on the Sarbah field of the University of Ghana, Legon, was attended by over 20,000 youths from various churches. It was organised by the youth leaders of Christ Embassy, Airport City, Accra.

Prior to Sinach mounting the stage, the crowds were treated to spirit filled music from a host of music ministers, including the Amen Choir of Christ Embassy.

The moment everybody was waiting for finally arrived when Sinach mounted the stage at approximately 8:45pm. The entire gathering burst into loud shouts, excited to see her. She led the crowds to sing some of her well known songs including “I know who I am”, “Waymaker” and “Great are You, Lord”.

The much celebrated music minister encouraged the youth to trust God. Using herself as an example, she spoke of God’s ability to accomplish mighty things in the lives of those who trust in Him, irrespective of where they come from. She then led the crowds to prophesy into their future.

Many responded to the call to receive Christ as Lord and Saviour when Sinach made an Altar call during the programme.

The event was very successful, with the music minister herself testifying “(it) was beyond our imagination as we saw thousands of young people come out to join us in worship! The presence and power of God was so strong as many lives were changed and we were left in tears at the glorious wonder of the love of Jesus”.
