Don’t be lost in the noise of others. Social media, while it benefits us in numerous ways has also been the “doom” of others.
People’s lives have been so consumed with social media that they believe almost everything they see or read there. As a result, many people, including some children of God, have formed their philosophies about life and marriage from the numerous stories of failed marriages floating all around social media.
If you do continuously feed your mind with such stories you’re likely to have a distorted view of marriage and may even think yours may end up like the ones you have read about.
Child of God, let only one thing stand out for you – The Word of God. God said marriage is good and it is! Irrespective of how others are experiencing it. You are called to be the light of the world. Make sure yours reflects God’s original intention for marriage.
The Passion Translation of Proverbs 18:22 says “When a man finds a wife, he has found a treasure! For she is the gift of God to bring him joy and pleasure. But the one who divorces a good woman loses what is good from his house. To choose an adulteress is both stupid and ungodly.”
