Physical distance in marriage can affect your ability to satisfy the companionship and sexual needs of each other fully. If that dissatisfaction lasts for too long there is the temptation for one or both partners to seek these necessary needs from elsewhere and this makes most distant marriages weak.
Distant marriages require higher level of determination and self control from both spouses to succeed. As much as it is possible, work on staying together as quickly as possible. Be married for life.
