Founder and President of the Believers Loveworld Incorporated, Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, recently admonished Christians to return to its first works of love by being moved by the needs of others to help. He based his message on Revelations 2:1-5.
Speaking during a special ministry programme, Ps. Chris rebuked believers who are of the view that there is no need to assist others. He quoted 1 Timothy 5:8 “But if anyone does not provide for his own family, especially for his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” to say that those who do not show concern for their family members, parents, children, spouses and other believers have denied the faith.
He went on to reveal that the relevance of the Church is it’s Ministry of love. Once the church stops walking in love, it loses its relevance and stands the chance of being removed from God’s sight.
