When married, it is good to financially support your parents and close family as much as you can. “Leave your father and mother” as stated in the scriptures does not mean we should not support our parents and close family when married.
However, ensure that in helping your parents and close family you do not neglect the needs of your spouse and children. Give your spouse and children topmost priority. Be married for life.
