Founder and presiding Bishop of the United Denomination originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, said that having a regular daily quiet times exposes one to spiritual food. He said this via a post on Facebook.
Citing 1 Peter 2:2, Matthew 4:4 and Hebrews 5:12, he said the Word of God is milk for the soul, bread for the hungry and meat for men.
He finally alluded to the fact that having a daily balanced meal of the word of God cannot be compared to a quick microwave sermon every now and then.
