Reports reaching Chrife.com.gh are that the World Health Organisation (WHO) now says it is very rare for individuals who are asymptomatic (those without the symptoms of fever, chills, shortness of breath) to transfer the coronavirus.
A video shared by Gospel Musician Sinach on her Twitter account shows a doctor speaking about this recent announcement of the WHO.
The World Health Organisation at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic warned against the transfer of the virus from asymptomatic individuals to uninfected persons. To curb the spread and “flatten the curve”, they encouraged social distancing and many nations across the world went into lockdown some for months.
The global count for coronavirus now stands at 7,500,341, with 419,973 deaths and 3,806,942 recoveries. Ghana currently has 10,358 confirmed cases, 3,824 recoveries, representing 36.91% of total confirmed cases and 48 deaths (less than 0.1%).
